The Basics of Pistol Shooting - Blended course consists of an easy-to-understand self-learning component (Basics of Pistol Shooting Online Course) which allows the student to complete this module at their own pace and learn from the comfort of their home. The course includes 11 lessons and takes approximately eight (8) hours to complete. Upon successful completion of the self-learning module, the student can schedule the practical session with an NRA Certified Instructor - Pistol.
The practical session is scheduled for five (5) hour time blocks. The number of seats available for each session is two (2). This allows for a more personal and more effective training experience during the dry-fire and live-fire exercises.

Equipment: All safety equipment, ammunition, pistols, targets, etc. will be provided. If you own shooting glasses or ear protection, you can also bring them if you prefer to use your own.
Clothing: Please wear closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals), a crew neck (T-shirt) or button-up shirt (no low-cut neckline). Long pants are recommended, but not required. You may also want to bring a baseball cap or a billed hat. During the live fire exercises, there will be hot brass being ejected from the pistols which may bounce onto you. This clothing will offer you the best protection.
Course Fee Information: West Hill Pistol Training's Basics of Pistol Shooting - Blended (BoPS) course fee is $130.00 per student which includes the Self-Learning module's enrollment key fee of $55.00 (an 8% savings when compared to the $60.00 NRA on-line training website's fee) and the practical session fee of $75.00 per student. The "NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting" textbook, "NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program" booklet, and the "NRA Gun Safety Rules" card is included when purchasing the self-learning module enrollment key.
The Basics of Pistol Shooting - Blended five (5) hours practical session only fee is $75.00 per student. This is for students who have completed the self-learning module of the course.
